Uinta County, Wyoming, is home to two airports that serve general aviation and regional travel needs:
Evanston-Uinta County Airport (Burns Field) – Located in Evanston, WY, this airport provides services for private and general aviation. It features a 7,300-foot runway, fuel services, and maintenance facilities. The airport is publicly owned and managed by the City of Evanston and Uinta County.
Fort Bridger Airport (FBR) is a public airport in Fort Bridger, Uinta County, Wyoming, serving general aviation and private flying. It is located four miles north of Fort Bridger and sits at an elevation of 7,038 feet. The airport features a 6,404-foot asphalt runway (Runway 4/22) and a 3,520-foot turf/dirt runway (Runway 7/25). The airport is unattended, but pilots can access fuel (100LL) 24/7 via credit card. It does not have a control tower, but communications are provided by Casper Radio. The airport is owned by Uinta County and managed by Jeff Breininger.
