Overview
The Small Business Innovative Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs are jointly sponsored by the Wyoming Business Council and University of Wyoming.
Federal and State grant funding is provided to businesses to assist in development of innovative new product concepts. The program is funded in Phases, with funding in the Phase 0 Program at $5000; Phase I Program up to $100,000 and Phase II up to $750,000 in grant funding.
Phase III is not grant supported and requires other funding sources for the “commercialization” step of the Phase II prototype. Phase 0 grants are awarded monthly to Wyoming individuals and small businesses start-ups.
