Administered by the Wyoming Business Council, a local government entity may apply for grant funding for grant funding to provide necessary employee training for a for-profit business
Program Funds
The program is funded by Community Development Block Grant (HUD) funds, so the business must demonstrate 51% of the persons receiving training meet low to moderate income standards.
Maximum Amount
Maximum training grant is $100,000 with preference for “Primary Jobs” – those jobs that bring new income into a community. The program does not assist with training costs associated with company training. In these cases, Workforce Development Training program is effective.
